Clean and will maintained, there were no problems with the condition of the hotel or our room. I can not imagine how some other reviewers complain of a musty smell as there was no carpet in the room and the drapes were clean. The staff were wonderful.
My experience here was great! The employees are welcoming and very attentive! The room was perfect except the shower head. Restaurant is one of the best for breakfast and the bar with appetizers and excellent drinks is a must. I like to point the cleaning crew. They really are exceptional.
Older and easy to find! Well located within walking distance to historic downtown, public transportation, the market place for souvenirs and good local food. Beautiful, clean and detailed grounds, adequate rooms with disappointing pillows (at least in my room) and thin doors that allows you to hear everything in the hallway. No screens to the balcony doors. The pool was sparkling! The staff was professional, responsive and accommodating. The food at the restaurant disappointingly decent, not at par with a hotel of this caliber. The bar is trendy and always busy during peak hours. We had a three night stay.
Had brunch there. Very nice, quiet place. Their menu was limited when we went because of Covid, but it was still relatively ample. Had chilaquiles rojos which were delicious. Large portions. Nice ambience. Will be back.
Perfect location, wonderful experience, friendly staff, and overall the most luxurious hotel that you can possibly imagine riding a heart of Durango. Be sure to visit the nearby Pancho Villa museum. It’s just a short Uber ride away.
I don’t understand how this hotel can call it self a 5 star hotel. Shower head doesn't match the same quality of other fixtures around the room. The water pressure could be improved. Some fixtures were broken. At most this is a 3.8 star hotel. Check-in was one of the easiest I have ever had

We were here to watch the Totality of the Solar Eclipse here in Durango, 2024. The Hotel service was first class. The restaurant Mgr Karen was a true hospitality professional.
